Serendipity Suppers are off to a great start with two completed rounds of gatherings in
member's homes. This has given those who have participated a chance to get to know who we are when we're not at church.
It's fun and amazing what one finds out about those who attend through friendly, relaxed conversation and eating really fine
shared food from each participant.
Joanie Rapp is looking for more people who would be willing to be hosts for late January
and early March. Let her know as soon as possible, so the roster for each gathering can be set up. Also, those
of you who have not yet signed up, and would like to be a participant only, please let Joan know so you can be included on
the next two rounds of suppers. Her phone is: 752-0191.
Finally, for all the participants, save the first Saturday in May--May 6-- for a special
gathering at downtown's Pythian Temple, where Phil Blackledge will host a special Serendipty Supper--actually, more like a
lunch that day-- with a bit of history of this lovely old building and its role in Tacoma's history.
We hope to see more of you involved in getting to know
our church family members better. Please join us.
